Caparo Vehicle Technologies are dedicated taking projects from design to volume production using the full range of composites processes.
With 25 years of experience the Caparo team have participated in all aspects of carbon fibre composites development including the first niche spacecraft applications, the first carbon fibre racing car structure and the first carbon fibre production car structure. Each successive team project has reduced production costs and increased volumes bringing increasingly better value for money to customers.
The Caparo team, were the first to introduce Kanban controls and lean manufacturing techniques to advanced composites and after multiple installations are poised to make the transition from Theory of Constraints controls to flow line production using Toyota Manufacturing System principles.
These new installations will have a significant level of robotics and high levels of automation as required.
With full scale production capable laboratories in Basingstoke (Hampshire UK)and Willenhall (Cheshire UK) Caparo can tool and produce in medium volumes in the UK or use proven training regimes to transfer production seamlessly to low cost Caparo owned and operated sources in India and Eastern Europe.
